Honda Launched Its Premium 2026 Lineup of 4 Bikes in India

In April 2026, Honda removed the CBR650R, CB650R, and X-ADV from their official sites, and questions arose in our minds that due to the limited sales of Honda premium bikes in India, is Honda really closing the sales of premium bikes in India? But we found the actual reason that this happens due to the limited availability of products. Honda premium lineup imports in the form of CBU [Completely Built Unit]. That's the reason for limited availability due to which when stocks go out, they hold the bookings of new products so customers don't face any issues, and also they upgraded the bikes with E-Clutch Technology in which maximum bikes will have this technology.

Definition of E-Clutch: E-Clutch is the automated clutch technology developed by Honda in 10 years of research and testing. This E-Clutch works on motors which electronically work for you to engage the clutch during gear shifting and makes your ride smoother, mainly in city traffic where you press the clutch a lot. In this technology, two tiny servo motors are fitted in the side of the engine compartment, and when you change the gear, the ECU reads all your throttle position, engine RPM, your wheel speed, and gear position and activates the clutch to change the gear. All this happens in milliseconds so you will get a smoother gear shift without pressing the clutch.

And now coming to the topic, in June 2026, Honda finally launched 4 of its premium bikes in India with better upgrades and cosmetic changes:

  1. XL750 Transalp [E-Clutch] - ₹13.20 Lakh
  2. CB750 Hornet [E-Clutch] - ₹10.49 Lakh
  3. CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP - ₹33.50 Lakh
  4. Goldwing - ₹44.30 Lakh

1. XL750 Transalp: This is an adventure tourer bike which is comfortable on-road and off-road, and you can ride long distances without any fatigue.

In the Transalp, you get a smooth 755 cc, 2-Cylinder Parallel-Twin, Liquid-Cooled Engine which produces 90.5 bhp @ 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque @ 7,250 rpm, equipped with a 6-speed gearbox with E-Clutch tech. It features front long-travel Showa SFF-CA USD Forks and a rear ProLink Monoshock.

For braking, this bike consists of front dual 310mm discs and a rear 256mm disc. Paired with a 21-inch front spoke wheel and an 18-inch rear spoke wheel for off-roading, it makes off-roading and touring smooth.

2. CB750 Hornet: This is a powerful 'naked streetfighter' bike that has been updated with a new automatic clutch option.

For a fun-to-ride experience, it comes with electronically adjustable Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 NPX USD Forks in the front and an Öhlins TTX36 Monoshock in the rear. For better braking, this is equipped with superbike-grade Brembo Stylema R Calipers, dual 330mm front discs, and features an electronic 6-axis IMU, Wheelie Control, Launch Control, and Traction Control.
