Triumph Sets Reveal Dates for New Tigers and Street Triple

Triumph has told us what is coming, but not yet shown it. Alongside the Bonneville 400 launch this week, the British maker teased three significant 2027 models and set staged reveal dates stretching into December. None of them has an India launch date or price yet.

The Reveal Calendar

  1. Tiger 1200: October 27, 2026
  2. Street Triple 798: November 17, 2026
  3. Tiger 900: December 15, 2026

Full specifications and pricing are expected at each debut.

Street Triple 798: The Big Change

The Street Triple gets the deepest rework. Triumph says it uses a new 798cc three-cylinder engine linked to its Moto2 development work. Reported changes include a new cylinder head, redesigned valvetrain, new combustion chamber and higher-flow ports. Triumph claims about 6% more peak power and a weight saving of around 2kg.

The chassis is also new, with a fresh frame, a larger double-sided swingarm and an underbelly exhaust. The old bug-eye headlamps give way to LED perimeter units with a central main beam.

Tiger 900 and Tiger 1200: Radar Arrives

Both adventure bikes gain front-mounted radar hardware, which usually points to adaptive cruise control and possibly blind-spot monitoring. Triumph has not confirmed which functions will be offered, so those features are inference, not announcement. Both models keep the familiar Tiger shape with updated bodywork, and Triumph promises higher performance.

What It Means for India

All three bikes are on sale in India, so each update is likely to follow here. Bike outlets note that a current Street Triple 765 is listed from about Rs 10.86 lakh. Whether the 798 version will cost more is unknown, and no India timeline exists. Check details at Triumph India as the reveals arrive.

Whether the radar hardware reaches Indian-spec bikes is something Triumph has not said.

What Is Not Confirmed

Power and torque figures, price, India launch dates and the exact rider-assist functions are all missing. We will cover each model when Triumph gives numbers.

This is separate from the Bonneville 400, which is already on sale from Rs 2.55 lakh.
