Honda has refreshed the Elevate, and the headline is a feature list rather than a new engine. The facelifted compact SUV went on sale on October 6 at Rs 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base SV manual, and the new ZX+ Black tops the range at Rs 18.40 lakh with the CVT.
The previous Elevate ran from about Rs 11.81 lakh to Rs 16.36 lakh, so the entry price is essentially unchanged while the top end moves up by roughly Rs 2 lakh. Most of that gap pays for the new equipment.
Prices We Have Confirmed
All figures are ex-showroom, Delhi:
- SV manual: Rs 11.80 lakh
- V CVT: Rs 13.79 lakh
- ZX+ manual: Rs 16.80 lakh
- ZX+ CVT: Rs 18.30 lakh
- ZX+ Black manual: Rs 16.90 lakh
- ZX+ Black CVT: Rs 18.40 lakh
Prices for the VX and ZX variants were not clearly listed in the sources we checked, so we are not publishing them. Pearl and dual-tone paint cost extra, although the ZX+ Black price includes Crystal Black Pearl.
What Changes Outside
The front end gets a larger mesh grille and connected tri-bar LED headlamps, and the Honda badge now sits on the leading edge of the bonnet. Connected LED lighting at both ends is available from the VX trim upwards. There are new alloy wheel finishes and a revised rear bumper. Seven colours are on offer, including Nordic Forest Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl and Radiant Red Metallic, with dual-tone options.
What Changes Inside
The cabin swaps the old faux-wood look for an ivory-and-black dashboard theme with soft-touch surfaces, wraparound ambient lighting and perforated ivory leather on higher trims. The ZX+ Black gets an all-black interior. Honda has also added acoustic material to cut cabin noise.
The feature additions are where the Elevate now competes harder:
- Ventilated front seats on the ZX, and front and rear ventilated seats on the ZX+. Honda describes this as a segment-first.
- A 360-degree surround-view camera on the ZX+.
- An eight-way powered driver's seat and a four-way powered passenger seat on the ZX+.
- Honda Sensing with a new Low-Speed Follow function on CVT variants.
Engine: No Change, No Hybrid
Power still comes from the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine, making 121PS and 145Nm. You can pair it with a six-speed manual or a CVT. Claimed mileage is 15.31km/l for the manual and 16.61km/l for the CVT. The engine is E20 compatible.
Honda did not launch a hybrid. The City sedan offers one, and buyers had hoped the Elevate would follow, but the company has not announced any plan.
Who Should Look At It
If you want a petrol-only compact SUV loaded with comfort features, the ZX+ now offers items that rivals charge extra for or skip entirely. If fuel economy or a turbo engine matters more, nothing here changes that picture.
As always, check the variant-wise feature list at the dealership before booking, since several items are limited to the top trims.
