The F77—India's first production electric motorcycle from Ultraviolette Automotive—has participated in the Isle of Man TT, a race that draws competitors from across the globe, which is held in the British region Isle of Man, known as Mann or Man.
The Isle of Man TT is one of the deadliest races in existence; it takes place on local roads rather than a dedicated race track and enjoys strong support from the local community.
Roads are cleared for the event, which spans several days.
Let us understand the Isle of Man TT.

The Isle of Man TT stands for the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. It is a racing event held annually in May or June—having first started in 1907—and spans approximately two weeks; the event is heavily promoted and managed by the Isle of Man government. The race takes place on a fixed circuit measuring 37.73 miles (60.72 kilometers) that winds through both rural and urban areas, featuring 219 bends. Fundamentally, this is not a purpose-built racing circuit but rather a network of ordinary Isle of Man roads that are fully prepared for the race, involving both local residents and international participants, and this event is sanctioned by ACU (Auto Cycle Union), the governing body or organization to organize the motorcycle events across Britain.

Is this really the first ever Indian motorcycle to participate in the Isle of Man?
In reality, this isn't the first Indian motorcycle to participate in this race, yet in a way, it is—and there is a reason for that. The F77 is a fully production-ready, road-legal motorcycle that anyone can buy on the open market. In contrast, the bikes that previously participated in (and even won) this race were either prototypes or machines built specifically for racing; they were never sold to the general public, nor could they have been. That is why the F77 is the first Indian motorcycle of its kind—and it has been built entirely in India.
